starting somewhere

i've been saying for a couple of years now that i want to start a blog (which i realize is still about 5 years behind the curve, but i'm a little slow on the uptake with these sorts of things.) so...here it is. i'm considering this post a warm-up, just to get something out there. from now on, i hope to post about things i find that i think other people will like, as well as using it to help me document what's going on. this sounds easy enough, but my main fear with doing this is coming up with original content. i think i can aggregate cool things pretty well - i think my style is just made up of me copying my favorite bits from other people's ideas. i'm just not sure that i am a CREATOR of new great things. maybe having this blog will force me into it. sounds good to me!
